Hampshire Scouts Youth Council

Hampshire Scouts Youth Council aims to make sure that young people’s voices are heard within Hampshire and beyond. We want to make sure that actions that are being taken are what young people want and not what adults think young people want! The Youth Council is a group of young people aged between 14 and 25 chosen by their Districts to represent Scouts between 6 and 25-years-old.

Hampshire Scouts' first Youth Governance Day is being run by the County Youth Commissioner Peter Marcus and Deputy County Chair to support everyone aged 18-25 who's taken on a governance role - from Group Executive Committees all the way up to the national Board of Trustees. Come along to share your experiences and get some top tips from people who have been there before.

Join the County Youth Team and some special guests for the Big Youth Council Summer Social. We're not sure whether we're going to get the BBQ going or make ourselves a picnic, but whatever we do we want you to join us as we celebrate the end of exam season and the start of summer.
