Peter Marcus
County Youth Commissioner
Peter became our County Youth Commissioner in June 2019, become the second Youth Commissioner in Hampshire. Peter joined the Scouts at the age of 14 as an Explorer with the Sharks Explorer Scout Unit in Portsmouth before becoming a young leader and then an adult volunteer with a Scout group in the city. He's been a member of the Hampshire Scouts Youth Council since he was 15 and became their representative on the County Board of Trustees at the age of 18. As County Youth Commissioner he supports District Youth Commissioners and other volunteers to engage young people in shaping their Scout journey.
