Our current County Youth Commissioner, Emma Hale, will be stepping down in June and we're on the look out for our next CYC and for new members of the County Youth Team.

To take on one of these roles you have to be aged 18-25 (except the EYR where you can be 14-25).

County Youth Commissioner

The County Youth Commissioner leads the County Youth Team, supporting the team to develop Youth Shaped Scouting across the County. They are members of the County Leadership Team and County Executive Committee. They will lead on efforts to recruit and support District Youth Commissioners, run the Youth Council, and young people and adults in Youth Shaped Scouting.

This role could be shared between more than one person

County Executive Youth Representative

The County Executive Youth Representative is a full member of the County Executive Committee, elected each year by the Youth Council. To apply for this role you should understand the responsibilities of a trustee.

Current role holders: Peter Marcus and Joanne Day

Elected Youth Representative

A more flexible role, the EYR role allows you the opportunity to experience a range of areas of the County, including by attending meetings alongside the County Youth Commissioner. You will play a role in delivering the Youth Council.

Current role holders: Kat Carswell, Maddy Withey and Tom Bell
